Body Awareness
Inspired by the Feldenkrais method, we begin by noticing where you’re holding tension. Whether it’s your shoulders, chest, or jaw and gently releasing it. Your voice can only be as free as your body will allow.
Vocal & Songwriting
Your voice is one of a kind, and the way you develop it should be too. Online lessons and coaching for audition prep, choir, community performances, or simply for your own joy. One-on-one. Built entirely around you.

Most voice lessons follow the same rigid script: repetitive warmups, standardized technique, European classical conventions applied without context. Over time, the music stops feeling like music.
After years of performing, directing, and teaching, Cris found a different way. Every lesson starts with a simple question: "How was your week? Where do you feel tension in your body?" Because your voice lives in your body and it carries everything you're carrying.
By the end of a session, students don't just sound better. They feel uplifted, centered, and more like themselves.
"Working with him has revived a rich part of my life that I thought I'd lost forever. It's challenging, fun, and brings me so much joy and comfort."
No templates. No one-size-fits-all approach. Every session adapts entirely to you. It’s your voice, your body, and your goals. Every single time.

Just as athletes stretch differently for different sports, your vocal exercises are chosen for you. They are for that specific day, your voice type, your goals. No cookie-cutter curriculum, ever.

Whether building repertoire, developing stage presence, or writing your first song, the destination is always the same: your most genuine, free, and powerful voice.
Cris works with a wide range of students. His students range from complete beginners to seasoned professionals. The only requirement is a willingness to find your voice.
You used to love singing in school, in church, in the car. Life got full and it faded. These lessons are a warm, safe way back to something that once made you feel alive.
You have emotions, stories, and something to say. Cris will help you shape raw inspiration into a singable, memorable song and give you the tools to perform it.
A doctor who connects with patients through music. A teacher who needs a moment to breathe. Singing gives your nervous system permission to reset. Self-care with a melody.
Whether you have a choir placement, community theatre, a special performance coming up. Cris prepares you with the specific technique and confidence you need for the moment that matters.
About Cris
Countertenor · Recording Artist · Artistic Director
Cris Law has spent his life immersed in music. He’s gone from an advanced children's choir in Hong Kong, to solo concert tours across London, Paris, and Turin, to releasing his debut Baroque album Legacy in tribute to his mentor, legendary countertenor Brian Asawa.
His teaching is as personal as his music. Shaped by grief, gratitude, and a career built on listening deeply. He translates these to audiences, to collaborators, and now, to every student he works with.

“Working with him has revived a rich part of my life that I thought I’d lost forever.”
“Cris is the best teacher I could’ve asked for when I started lessons a little under a year ago!”
“I definitely recommend him if you’re a student that is looking to be challenged and pushed to your full potential.”
You don't need to be a recording artist to write something real. You just need someone to help you find it, shape it, and get it out of your head and into the world.
Schedule LessonThat melody stuck in your head, that lyric fragment on your notes app, we start there. You leave with something finished, not just a concept.
Here, there’s no cookie-cutter structures. We build around what makes you sound like you. We work with your phrasing, your perspective, your story.
The goal is a song that exists outside your head. Once you have a structured lyrical and melodic content, then we can start working towards a demo.

One of Cris's songwriting students, Edie, inspired by historical political events, wrote her song, and put it out into the world. Including a YouTube music video and Spotify. She was nervous. She did it anyway. It's out there now, and it's beautiful.
